Built on a challenging site with a narrow frontage and very steep slope below, we employed a walk-out lower level to maximize the available level land for patios and landscaping. The main floor is divided with a vaulted living/dining/kitchen zone on one side and a more intimate master bedroom wing on the other. Fir post and beams support the roof and add warmth and a sense of structural strength to the light-filled space.
