A new report has been issued by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. At a press conference, the IPCC chair, Rajendra Pachauri, said “If the world doesn’t do anything about mitigating the emissions of greenhouse gases and the extent of climate change continues to increase, then the very social stability of human systems could be at stake.” We couldn’t agree more. I’ve just come back from a really exciting weekend training program in Passive House Design taught by Dr. Guido Wimmers. This renowned Austrian architect came to Whistler to create the Austria Passive House during the 2010 Winter Olympics.
