This is a timeless classic with state-of-the-art energy performance, incorporating many of the most enduring elements of the Craftsman style but with a modern twist. The owner planned to complete the interior over time, so the garage was customized into one of the nicest workshops I’ve seen. Since the house occupied a fairly tight lot in an urban neighbourhood, we planned exterior spaces for quiet and privacy, with a rain garden designed to make good use of roof runoff.
